



Hi, I’m Sandra!
I didn’t grow up baking bread. In fact, I used to feel overwhelmed by the idea of making anything “from scratch.” But that began to change when my Costa Rican mother-in-law came for a visit. I watched her create wholesome, nourishing meals with whatever was on hand—no pressure, no perfection, just care, creativity, and a deep love for feeding her family.
It was simple, but it was also beautiful. And I wanted that.
As I began experimenting more in my own kitchen, I quickly realized that the kitchen was filled with rules, opinions, and endless methods. It was overwhelming, confusing, and honestly discouraging. I remember thinking, “There has to be a more enjoyable way to feed my family."
And eventually—I found it, happily.
I started experimenting with different recipes, learning new things, exploring the world of cooking and baking. I loved it. My family loved it.
In 2019, I opened my cottage food bakery, with the intent to share the simplicity of baking with others. Shortly after I opened, my customers started asking for Sourdough. Reluctantly, I committed to the process, and started the research, reading, joining facebook groups, watching videos, and experimenting. I thought, "This is madness! Why is this so complicated?" So I decided to throw the "fluff" and "inconvenience" out the window, and applied the base principles to what I was already doing and developed a simpler, more flexible approach to sourdough. One that worked for real life—raising a family, running a home, and business. This method didn’t require starting over, heavy equipment, babysitting dough, or rigid schedules. It allowed Sourdough bread-making to fit into my life—and I loved it!
Now, I teach that same approach to home bakers who want to feel confident, relaxed, and capable in their own kitchens. Bakers who want real food, real nourishment, and a rhythm that feels good—not overwhelming.
